Flood Relief 2010
It is the climax of human passion to feel the sorrows of afflicted peoples either in earthquake or in flood situations. These are the national disasters but there are also personal sorrows and afflictions. In every case it is the command of almighty to reach and help. Both calamities in Pakistan have damaged beyond human thoughts. Need is to pursue the matters with the broken heart to feel for others and think about ourselves. Repenting from sins, asking for the mercies and stepping out to help physically and morally. Proverbs 19:17 “The one who is gracious to the poor lends to the Lord, and the Lord will repay him for his good deed.
On 22th September 2010 at 5 Am a truck of flood relief has been sent to the place of Punjab province, District Mazafar Ghar near Kherya, Rung pura, by Heaven cares Pakistan. There at many people had victim by this natural disaster. The crops, which were one of them the means of earning, were wrecked, and countless houses, which were made by mud structure, were damaged. Now the water of flood has ended, but the rehabilitation of peoples could not. That is why HCP decided to send a Relief truck of worth Rs. 100,000 containing basic food items like Flour, Oil, Sugar, Salt, Milk, Soaps, and Matches etc. All food packets were distributed in areas of South Punjab.
Relief team went there in leadership of Rev. Shakeel Francis (Chairman) including: Pastor Samson Boota, Ev. Javeed Masih, Khalid Peter (Ex. Counselor), Dildar Gill, Suhail Sardar and Adeel Shakeel.
It is the high need of hour to rehabilitate the peoples because some of them have lost their houses and no place to live. We gave them food relief but they have no places for save that food items. Now the need is to build their houses, colonies and rehabilitate them.
We request to you please help them. They also our brothers and sisters and above all they are a creation of God and a human being. Although we doing some work but it is not enough for them. We need more budgets and more relief fund to rehabilitate them.

Opening ceremony of cassette
HCP launched an awareness cassette containing awareness songs. Different persons from all walks of life were in opening ceremony, Respectable Rev. Fr. Aftab James inaugurated the cassette. All songs are written by Rev. Shakeel Francis and composed and sung by Mr. Afzal Shahzad.
